Halfway through medical school I realised that the healthcare system was fixated on managing sick patients with declining health. Being an NHS doctor exposed me to tragedy of not taking action on health sooner.
At that point I became interested in the posibility of preventing and even reversing chronic illness. Later, I presented orgininal research on reversing diabetes at medical conferences.
Many of the patients I saw as medical student and later as an NHS doctor wanted to be empowered to manage their own health and prevent disease. My non-medical practice in coaching does just that—help empower clients live in in optimal health.
In the last several years I have worked as a hospital doctor in a variety of specialities including cardiology, endocrinology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, surgery, acute medicine and emergency medicine.
Obsessed with learning all that I could about preventing illness and optimizing health I spent ten years learning about disease, physiology, preventitive health and longevity.
Now I have refined my understanding of health optimization and longevity in to core areas.I have put into practice these core areas to help empower my clients to achieve optimal health.
